Lou Lou Australia is a small, Australian-owned family business.  Since 2013, we've been designing bamboo clothing for women who want to look polished and feel comfortable every single day.

We believe in slow living and clothing that lasts. We're not about fast fashion or throwaway trends. We make versatile essentials you'll reach for year after year, and our customers tell us their Lou Lou pieces still look brand new long after they've bought them.

Designed in Australia

Every Lou Lou piece starts here in Australia, where we do all our designing, pattern making and sampling. Our garments are made by a small family business we've worked with for over ten years. That long partnership lets us keep a close eye on the quality of every piece.

Our signature bamboo fabric

We don't buy our fabric off the roll; we have it custom-made. Our signature fabric is 93% bamboo viscose and 7% elastane, milled to our own specification at 260gsm. That's noticeably heavier than most bamboo clothing on the market, and the extra weight makes all the difference:

• Beautiful drape that skims rather than clings
• Better coverage, so it won't go see-through in bright light
• Holds its shape all day, with stretch and recovery that moves with you
• Soft, smooth and breathable, comfortable across every season
• Crease-resistant, so it's easy to pack and travel with
• Durable through repeated wear and washing
