February is renown for its hot and uncomfortably steamy days. Just the meagre thought of stepping outside can have the most chic of ladies reaching for a glass of ice and a fan. Based here on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, we experience that heat for months on end, so it was one of the things we kept forefront in our mind when designing our Spring Summer Collection. February is also the month a lot of us get back into a normal 9-5 work routine, so we wanted to design looks that were versatile and workplace friendly too. So here are our favourite Summer Style outfits from the collection that will help keep you cool in more ways than one.
The Nora Bamboo Dress is a flattering, asymmetrical style with short sleeves and gathering drape down one side. Its contemporary styling with its asymmetrical shape gives the ability to wear one side off the shoulder or straight. Pair it with a light summer blazer and point shoes for a more corporate look for work or sunnies and sandals for a day at the beach. The luxe Katy Frill Skirt Maxi is a fully-lined style featuring our signature wide, stretch, ultra-comfortable waistband with a touch of frill along the bottom for a more elevated look. This cut is super flattering on all body types and will fast become one of your most favourite wardrobe staples. The modest length will make this a versatile piece that keeps you comfortable all day. We love it partnered with the Ellie Singlet, which has a loose fit keeping things light and airy around your torso area.
KATY FRILL SKIRT MIDI AND TONI TEE
This summer favourite is one of our more feminine looks and we love it! Featuring the Katy Frill Skirt but in the midi length, the knee length skirt still gives coverage but just that little bit shorter making it a fun staple for summer. It is made from our signature breathable fabric and is moisture wicking and odour resistant. It boasts a thick stretch waistband and is fully lined for a smooth finish. Paired with the Toni Tee, the relaxed, drape, asymmetrical cut of the top creates a flattering silhouette.
LONG WHITNEY TUBE SKIRT AND CINDY SINGLET
Last but not least is one of our all time favourites, the combination of the Long Whitney Tube Skirt and Cindy Singlet. A chic ankle length tube skirt that will again flatter all figures and when styled with a summery singlet it is an outfit that will keep you cool while looking effortlessly stylish. We love it worn with a simple white slide or sandal, but it also looks great with a strappy heel for a dressier look.
