At its heart, Lou Lou Australia is a family run small business that originated from my incredible mum Ann. After owning a retail store for 25 years in Noosa Heads, she developed a passion for dressing women of all shapes and sizes, and began to see a need for fashion that was also gentle on the skin and the planet.
So approximately five years ago, the hunt began for premium natural fabrics that would suit both sensitive skin conditions and hot flushes, to be made into luxurious fashion staples. We needed something hypo allergenic as well as thermo regulating, and we wouldn’t take second best as an option. Therefore the Lou Lou Australia custom made Natural Bamboo Fabric was developed, with a quality and feel that we are now proudly known for.
Mum’s experience dressing the women of Noosa for so long, meant we had a perfect insight into ‘what women want’ and set about developing items for every shape and size, that celebrate women embracing themselves.

The years have ticked on and much to our delight, Lou Lou Australia has grown and grown! We adore seeing others just as excited about our products as we are, and embracing our ethos of buying less, but better quality items to see you comfortably through the years.
Just in the last year alone, this ‘small’ brand has expanded enormously, not just in size, but in the amount of gorgeous styles and colours available. We now have over 60 items in the Lou Lou store and continue to develop more wonderful options.
We believe in combining luxury, softness and comfort to match our relaxed Noosa Heads lifestyle. We love comfort, we love to travel and we love slow living. So we crafted a complete range that suits this ethos perfectly.
Lou Lou is a brand we are immensely proud of and excited for its future. We’re happily looking forward to many more years of creating sustainable, casual, versatile and comforting fashion, for you all.

A Note for Christmas Shopping
With Christmas fast on its way, it is time to get organised for gifts. Gifting Lou Lou Australia is a wonderfully sustainable and beautiful alternative this year, so have a browse through our range of luxe bamboo wardrobe staples, or give the gift of endless options with a Lou Lou gift card… perfect for those who do leave it to the last minute!
Please note, we are shutting our warehouse and having a little break for Christmas. The last day we will ship online orders is Xmas Eve, Tuesday the 24th of December. The warehouse is then closed until Monday 6 Jan. All orders placed during this time will be shipped on or after Monday 6 January.
Please be mindful, postage and courier services are sometimes delayed at this busy time, so we recommend any Christmas orders are made by 16 December to receive by Christmas.
